Desert Valley's 21st CCLC Program
Desert Valley School was awarded the 21st Century Community Learning Centers Program Grant. The purpose of the 21st CCLC program is to provide Academic and Youth Development Services and Family Engagement. It is not a child care program.
This grant will provide Before School Enrichment, After School Tutoring and Enrichment, Flex Friday Enrichment and Summer School for all students at Desert Valley School.
Students MUST be enrolled in the 21st CCLC program in order to participate in any of our Before School, After School or Flex Friday programs.
Before & After School Program
Through the 21st CCLC Program, Desert Valley School will be offering Before School Enrichment and After School Tutoring and Enrichment Programs.
Registration forms for our Before and After School Program will be sent home the during the 3rd week of school.
The Before and After School Program will start on Monday, August 22, 2022
Before School
Times: 7:30-8:15 am daily
Grades Kindergarten - 4th grade
Limited spots available, first come, first serve. Students MUST be enrolled to participate.
No transportation will be available. All students must be dropped off.
After School
Times: 3:45-5:00 pm daily
Tutoring and Enrichment Classes available
Grades 1st - 4th grade only
Limited spots available, first come, first serve. Students MUST be enrolled to participate.
Bussing with limited stops provided

Flex Fridays
The 21st CCLC Flex Friday Program is an Enrichment Program that takes place on 12 Fridays throughout the year. On Flex Fridays, school will start at 8:30 am and will end at 1:30 pm with breakfast starting at 8:15 in the cafeteria. Each student in grades 1-4 who registers will participate in 4 enrichment classes. Kindergarteners will participate in a Kinder Camp.
Flex Fridays are optional and not required.

21CCLC After School & Flex Friday Bus Stops
The 21CCLC Program provides only two buses with 52 bus stops for our attendance area. Please look at the list below and find the bus stop that is closest to your home for your child and write it on the enrollment form. To switch Bussing Lists, click on the blue link at the bottom of the table. Thank you.
